Android (Mobile) Developer – Code, Learn & Grow!

We’re looking for an Android Developer who is eager to grow, take on new challenges, and make an impact on our exciting projects.

• You’ll gain hands-on experience across different applications and you’ll also have the opportunity to explore other areas beyond mobile development that we focus on within Adastra.
• You’ll be part of a Native Mobile team with 6 Android and 6 iOS developers, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are key.
• We’re a team of people who enjoy working and spending time in the office together.
• English is our primary language – Czech can be useful, but it’s not required.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing new Android applications and enhancing existing ones
• Working with modern architectures and design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to create great UI experiences
• Connecting apps with APIs and making them work smoothly
• Writing clean, efficient code and collaborating with the team

You’re a great fit if you have:

• Practical experience with Kotlin and Android development
• Knowledge of core Android components (Activities, Fragments, Lifecycle)
• Familiarity with Jetpack (Compose, ViewModel, Room, Navigation)
• Understanding of best practices in architecture and design patterns
• Experience with API communication and REST frameworks
• A problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM) for cross-platform development
• Familiarity with unit, UI, and screenshot testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build automation
