What does a consultant actually do? Will I be selling something?

No way. A consultant is not a sales representative – just a regular IT specialist.
We go to companies and help them use their own data. And we show them how to extract useful information from it and work with it further.
So you have to understand IT, be able to design the architecture of the resulting solution as well as communicate with our clients and push their in-house team in the right direction.
